Cancellation Policy
This policy outlines the terms for cancelling a booking at Kalyan Mandap, located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. We understand that plans can change and have designed our policy to be as clear as possible.
1. Advance Deposit
To secure a booking, an advance deposit as specified in the booking agreement is required. This deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, as it blocks the date for other potential clients and covers our initial administrative costs.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our official email address: contact@kalyanmandap.in. The refund of any amount paid beyond the non-refundable advance deposit will be processed as per the following timeline:
- Cancellation more than 90 days prior to the event date: 100% of the amount paid (excluding the non-refundable advance deposit) will be refunded.
- Cancellation between 61 and 90 days prior to the event date: 50% of the amount paid (excluding the non-refundable advance deposit) will be refunded.
- Cancellation 60 days or less prior to the event date: No refund of any amount paid will be provided. The entire amount paid will be forfeited.
3. Rescheduling
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may be treated as a cancellation, subject to the terms above. Any consideration for rescheduling will be at the sole discretion of Kalyan Mandap management and may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
4. Cancellation by Kalyan Mandap
In the highly unlikely event that we are unable to host your event due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, government directives, damage to the venue, etc.), we will provide a full refund of all amounts paid to us, including the advance deposit. Our liability will be limited to the refund of the amount received from the customer; we will not be liable for any other costs or damages incurred by the client.
5. Amendments
Kalyan Mandap reserves the right to amend this Cancellation Policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will apply.
